After watching the video, I think it could happen.

If my CT5 V Blackwing doesn’t get built AND they can keep the price below $80 grand I’m in

It would be awesome if they did and I’m hopeful they do. An updated nose and LT5 will put it over $90k easy. Honestly even if it’s $100k and one could actually be had at that price, it’s a steal compared to what GT500 with race package costs. Don’t get me wrong, that’s a lot of money, just trying to put things in perspective.

One other thing, I want Blackwing looking type seats too!!!!!!!!!

I can imagine GM shoving something special into the Camaro for their last stand. I think they would hate to go out in 3rd place in the HP wars. Even though the Camaro stacks up well in handling, I figure one last special edition that might go for really close to $100K so that only hard core collectors can purchase. I figure 2002 should be a good indicator of what might happen. There was a special edition released if I remember, but it sold in really few numbers. So, if you intend on getting in I say make sure you start saving now.

I can SOMEWHAT believe that they MIGHT throw in a better motor for it's last year or two.

But a front-end redesign? Doubtful.

They have no Camaro Team left anymore for re-designs and such. We had performance parts people attend Camaro Fest last July. Literally no one left.

Just can't see this happening especially with Al being connected as he mentioned. He's smack in the middle of a super aggressive EV launch.

Just don't see it happening, but it's certainly been my wish for a long time.

Hmm, so he says LT2 in SS, LT4 gets bumped to 670 and LT5 in ZLE (limited production?). I hope it’s all true.

I don’t know what “sources” he’s referencing. Thinking optimistically, how would you make the claims he is without thinking about the repercussions of be slammed all over the web? Although there was an out at the end of the video when he said, “GM could change their mind at anytime”.

Too many reasons that have already been said (about related cars, too) that LT5 won't go into Camaro. This would be the only car I'd consider swapping to, but it's not going to happen, IMO.

Same here... Only way I swap is if this were to happen.

Then getting one anywhere near MSRP would be the next challenge and for that reason I'm sort of glad it won't happen.

Couldn't they just throw on a bigger Eaton Supercharger (2.6L) onto the LT4 with a tune and some cooling tweaks to get to that 755hp mark?

Does it really have to be the actual LT5 with the different crankshaft etc? Probably not. The LT4 can supposedly support up to 1000whp so a bigger Supercharger wouldn't necessarily need so much R&D.

GM is focusing on the C8 and upcoming EVs...the gas powered Camaro is done. The LT4 670hp version might happen as that would be logical, simple, and cost effective. I can see a carbon ceramic brake option as well which is easy money/high profit for GM.

Heritage addition will probably be just emblems and badges to send the camaro off.
