Seems like a slim chance. OTOH CT5V is putting down about 50hp more vs ZL1 so I could see this being the upgrade.

If it is true i can see people selling off their organs and body parts to get it. That LT5 in a last MY camaro will be an insane collectors car. Just look at the resale value of the 2019 ZR1's. ZR1 prices have nearly doubled in its value in two years. Part of me hopes its true, the other part hopes it isn't because price wise for me it will be unattainable.

Being powered by LT5 probably won't be enough; it needs to have even more special bits than ZLE already has, and most importantly, is limited to 1000 units or something, then yes, it's a true collector's car.

I heard they're going to go FWD with the Camaro for the final year send-off...

ZLE is already pretty expensive. I don't see the real benefit since I'm assuming the pricetag will make it even more exclusive. At that point, who cares.

I do. I got a ZLE just for the sake of having the halo trim for the final generation Camaro. If they do release another higher trim/limited edition, I'm gonna have to play some **** **** games with my business tax accountant to sell the ZLE and get whatever GM decides to do. I'd rather just keep the ZLE and be done with it.

I will be the first admit, I have no idea what GM is doing......and neither does Lethal Camaro, regardless of the alleged "Deep Throat" he has. GM like most large corporations have non-disclosure agreements with their top executives/top brass and I can't see anyone jeopardizing their jobs providing information to a you-tuber.
Has anyone seen a test mule for the new LT5 1LE.......don't believe so and for that reason alone, I don't think it is going to happen. GM just can't take the LT5 and drop it in any car without a ton of R&D and testing. Which takes months, if not years to collect and refine. I wish we could get off of this LT5 band wagon and accept the inevitable. JMHO |

I think by early next year we will have an idea. 2023 Camaro production is slated to start in June of 2022. That should answer most questions.
