Jeezus, what an exciting life you lead!
Anything you walk away from, that's a good day. Sounds like you have given up on the Camaro so I'm curious on what your next play car is gonna be. 6th gen maybe?

To think we locked an entire planet down for a virus when just the act of driving each day puts you in a situation that could easily result in sure death. Glad you’re ok.

got checked out, ears flushed and good to go.waiting on the insurance adjuster and estimator from the chevy dealer to let me know.we are both retired, dont "need " 2 cars so if the camaro is totalled that will probably be the end of fun cars for me.had planned on going back to work at the warehouse one day a week for some spare folding money but not digging the idea of being around trucks and forklifts at the moment...i feel like a cat thats used up 8 lives already.

The quarters can be replaced rather than mud f$cked as we used to call it when I did body work. A good used quarter from another wrecked car could be an option if GM not longer has quarters for sale.

heard from the adjuster.we will be getting a new quarter,LKQ door stripped and redone, new rear bumper and rear wheel and tire plus a few other miscellaneous goodies .hopefully nothing else will be found as the estimate already sits between 9,000-10,000.im pretty sure i will be getting 3 other tires once the car is back on the road...

Fight for the new tires with the insurance company, clearly they run the chance of being flat spotted given the nature of the accident.

they probably are,but with 55k miles on them there wasnt a whole lot of tread left and i was going to be tire shopping very shortly.insurance company bought one identical to what i was running and once the car is fixed and im sure all is good im going to hit up tire rack for the other 3.i will just be happy if the car is fixed to my satisfaction.as long as the insurance company doesnt try to screw me over i wont try to screw them either,it was just an unfortunate thing...i want to put it in the rear view mirror if possible.

Damn! Glad you are ok. I also bought my Camaro from Stingray. They were very good to me. I don’t get over your way much, but work in downtown Tampa, so I’m all too familiar with craziness on 275…
