they completely replaced the door, rear 1/4 panel and rear wheel.everything works fine,it just goes further down than the passenger side when you open the door.no odd noises either...

Like I said, it is possible that a stop or something could have come loose, or slipped, and it isn't anything that the window sensors "read", so it just drops down further. I would have the shop that did the work check it out. Good luck.

This is because when Safelite or whoever replaced your window, they broke a plastic piece in your window regulator. Or you might have got lucky and they just didn’t put it in the regulator correctly.

Pop your door panel off and look down in there and see what you see and make adjustments as needed.

I had to replace the complete motor regulator, and track assy on my driver side and in the process I found that there is a good bit of adjustment play in the window to track (up an down) that you need to adj to get it right. Since it was right when you got it back ,it's possible the clamp bolts weren't tight enough and the window slipped down.
The window has two holes in it for the bolts to go through and they are made large enough to accommodate this adj. Probably need to pull door panel and adj. It ! Loosen the bolts and lift window tighten and test till you get the right height and also the proper gap between the window and rear window.
Hope this helps !

Edited to say I reread your post ,I thought you said it was right when you got it back from repairs,so the shop simply failed to adj the window properly when installing.

it goes all the way up.if i adjust it higher will it break the glass or screw something up when the window goes up? its probably 3/8" further down than the passenger side when i open the door but goes to the correct heigth when the door shuts...

Don't think so, pretty sure it stops when pressure detected.
