NADA for my '18 with 36,000 miles is $36,150 retail, $33,175 clean trade in value.
The 1LE option adds about $4,000 over standard SS. https://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2018...D-SS-V8/Values

back in early 2019 when i was thinking of how to buy my Camaro, i was surprised how a used 2017 low mileage ss 1le for 35k was considered a 'good deal' by many. Now, maybe it was the refresh causing this, but i chose to spend $5000 more to get a new one!
I'm not sure it's because of the 1le.... it helps the 1le's are mostly the same content wise, a non-1le can be configured much more differently making it hard to do a comparison between the two. |

Yeah the newer Camaros do pop and gurgle a bit more. As long as the pops aren’t extreme I don’t really mind it. There are entire videos on YouTube that show GTR’s with explosive pops, no thanks. Mine is a 2017 and like mentioned above, really only does it a little when it’s cold. Thinking about removing the secondary cats which would increase the effects of it more.

I screwed myself and sold prematurely. I was planning on selling in october "once the pandemic ended" but got a semi decent offer of $32,500 in April. I thought that was the best i could get given the uncertain future of the market, and let it go. 2017 with 7k miles on it, pretty heavily tracked, so maybe an enthusiast would not have wanted it.
I think the car today would be worth 35-36 given the mileage, but unsure. What a crazy time for used cars. KBB has my 2019 Ram 1500 listed at 56k, i paid 50 for it new. |

I just bought a 2018 2SS 1LE with 46,000 miles for $31,600. Most I looked at were 36-40 range but the miles on this one brought it down. I was only looking for a 2SS trim.
There is one in fort Meyers Florida I almost bought at $34,000 with 23,000 miles. It may help its end of year too. |

I understand the supply chain has been significantly affected by COVID, but at least anecdotally speaking I haven't heard of many examples of buyers not being able to pick up a new 1LE. Maybe the odd story here or there but that was the case even back in 2018 when I bought mine. And then the high valuation makes no sense in the current market where SUVs and trucks are all manufacturers want to produce. There is a dwindling market for sports cars and sedans. I mean, who/what besides the COVID effect is driving up used car values? This is puzzling as hell. It also begs the question, are dealers ponying up amounts similar to KBB, NADA, et al used values at trade-in?

I love my car, it’s a lease and I am thinking of buying out at the end. My buyout I think is 23k.
I think the best thing would be to sell and capitalize on the difference.... but then again if I wanted to keep the same platform I would have to source another 1LE or possibly buy a used ZL1 (always felt iffy about buying used boosted cars). I’m not to sure what the heck to do. This car is my dream car: Americanized. An American GT3, or at least an attainable GT3 lol.

Would you mind sharing your lease payment? No worries if you don't want to, I was just curious. I used to have a 1LE, but sold it. It would be fun to have one around again for a bit without a long term commitment. |

The values I think are more dependent on the season too. I had my 2018 1LE 1SS w/ 7k listed for several weeks going from 35 all the way down to 32k. I had many offers from this page for $25-26k including that dealership lady who offered around $23k when I inquired about possibly trading up to a ZLE. At the end of the day I took $32k for a car I paid NEW $37k OTD (no sales tax for military in KY).
