Late 50's, ridden bikes my whole life got my first dirt bike when I was 10 so you get the drift. If it wasn't for health issues I'd still be on a bike......
Got the Camaro after tons of searching for a new toy. For me the bike would win, first love...Lol

very nice wheelie machine.

imo you're not a real petrol head unless you have had or have bikes.
you need to have experienced both to be the real enthusiast

This is a GREAT topic.

I sold my 2014 Ducati 1199 Panigale when I got my 2018 ZL1. And I am 54 now.

However, 2 months ago, I got a killer deal on a 2012 Kawasaki KLR 650 with 3000 miles on it. Been riding it 2 or 3 times a week since I got it.

I forgot how much fun a dual sport can be on dirt and gravel roads!

These types of bikes seem to be the way people are going. I seem them all over the place now when out and about.

I used to ride...owned several 1000cc sportbikes and did trackdays at an advanced level when I was in my 30s. Street riding got old with all the shit drivers and no real way to stretch out the way I wanted to so I went track only.

Today I dont even own a motorcycle...well I do have an 88cc pitbike lol.

My eyesight and reaction times are not what they were in my 30s...now 43.

But there will always be a special place in my heart for bikes.

I feel like the odd man out in this thread.

Turned 40 6 weeks ago and recently decided to get in to riding Motorcycles.

I have my Motorcycle Safety Foundations course in 2 weeks and can't wait to start practicing some Motojitsu and taking more courses.

It will just be something to use and enjoy, not primary source of transport. Not that it makes it any less dangerous.

Hey that's awesome...! Just be safe, keep your head on a swivel and ride like you are invisible to everyone. You can't get the feeling of being in the wind any other way. Convertible to and extent but it's still not the same.
