Thanks for all the feedback. Performance with the 3.6 is not really an option, however better sound is and $$$ is at this point which is why I was looking at Flowmaster versus a higher end system.

How do you like the Corsa compared to NPP and the Flowmaster?

Still waiting on parts to finish it up. I decided to change some things up. Going TSP headers with off road connection pioes into a Borla X pipe with the 60608 reasonated mid section...then into the Corsa NPP.

I started looking at the stock X and decided I wanted to get rid of all the areas that necks down. The afm valve area is under 2.5". Since I am FI, I want to keep the exhaust flowing best as possible to help with cylinder temps.

Nice! That should be an awesome exhaust system when you get it finished.

I decided to install the exhaust without the headers since they haven't showed up yet. The Borla 60608 resonated x pipe works perfect with the Corsa NPP. Ill probably install the headers this winter and upgrade the injectors all at once. I haven't had anytime to drive the car yet. I just started it and let it warm up, then retorqued all the clamps. Very happy with the fit and finish of the exhaust. It's also very tame with the valves closed. I'll get some sound clips soon.

Sweet! Looks good. Curious to see how it sounds with headers once you get there too.

Wow very quiet in stealth. I’m still on the fence about swapping out npp but the raspy tinny sound kills me.

Yes stealth is very quiet. The video doesn't really do the exhaust any justice because of all the reverb and echo in the metal building. I'll get a another vid outside. The rasp and tin is nothing in comparison to the stock NPP with cat deletes or headers.

If you're worried about rasp, make sure the mid pipe is 3" and ad a mid muffler, like the Magnaflow X-pipe mid muffler. It will keep the volume loud but clean up the tone, get rid of the rasp and tinny sound.

This guy here on the 1LE facebook group made a rasp free custom exhaust that just sound glorious. Add a Corsa NPP muffler for the perfect stealth when you need it.

I have the magnaflow sitting on the shelf. Need to find an exhaust shop that I can trust with the car.

Just went out for a drive and the Corsa setup is absolutely amazing. So clean sounding inside the cab. No drone at cruising speeds even with the valves open. Very throaty sounding part throttle and screams bald eagles @ WOT. Close the valves and it's stock NPP quiet.

I would definitely put the Corsa NPP in a nother league above the Flowmaster as it should be for the cost. The Flowmaster is still great for the money but I would suggest spending the extra if you can swing it!!
