I wouldn't be using the lifters so I'd be better off going with the pieces separately. Appreciate the listing. I likely won't be doing a cam unless I build a new engine.

Redlinez: The same videos I've seen - he seems like the real deal. Obviously he doesn't speak to idle quality/driveability, but enjoy actual dyno data.

Chevy's exhaust duration on the Hot cam is significant - surprising how much over stock it is.

KingLT1: Appreciate the comments. I don't expect my combination to be perfect with all the limitations I've got. I'm only looking for another 75 CHP - unlikely a fuel lobe would be required.

Still quite interested to hear of experiences (ideally with data!) with GM products.

Thanks.

Here is a thread where a member is using the GMPP Hot Cam in a normally-aspirated car https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=571570

Ive put 10k miles on the cam. Its been problem free and has a rowdy idle. Like mentioned, the biggest downside is the stock fuel lobe. Its getting retuned tomorrow with the additional rotofab, mamo 87 and mufflers. Hoping for 520+

I average 16, mostly highway. Got a whopping 2 hp and 6 lb. Ft. I was told going from my old tires that were 28" to my current 26.5 tires could account for up to 20 hp? Heres the overlay of before and after.

Have you thought about contacting Pray Performance for a tune? On a conservative dyno, I picked up 50whp and a bit more in torque with ported 95MM, his porting on my stock IM, E85 flex sensor and E, rotofab, and Texas Speed catted longtubes. I was at 450whp. I would think adding a cam to it would be worth more like 65-70, but it may be that the hotcam makes more power across the board and not a dyno peak queen cam.

Bomicino: Many thanks for posting the data - extremely helpful to those considering the GM parts.

I'm late to this conversation but come February I'm going with the Texas Speed cam and head package. You get Cam, Heads, upgraded springs and pushrods, Phaser lock and tool to install it.
