Throttle Relearn Procedure
Good morning all from Australia,
After 6 weeks off the road with a broken SC coupler (finally got a replacement from Whipple) I've now installed my Mamo Motorsports TB (87mm). The car seems to idle as per factory. Just looking for the specifics of the throttle relearn procedure, if anyone here is able to advise. thanks all, Peter

No, its a plug & play unit so shouldnt need any tuning. Just a relearn for the ECU as I understand.

He may have meant the control features of HP Tuners' VCM Scanner tool, it might be able to trigger a throttle relearn.

Thanks. I found another thread here; so did the following:
1. Disconnected battery neg terminal for 15 mins 2. Reconnected battery 3. Key on, engine off for 3 mins 3. Key off 1min 4. Key on, engine off for 3 mins 5. Key off 1 min Then had a quick drive in it and all is good, throttle noticeably smoother but yet to give it a proper workout.

So just for the benefit of others, my previous post was apparently wrong.
The correct procedure, which has worked exactly as intended, is: 1. Start engine and idle in park 3 mins 2. Engine off 1 min 3. Start engine and idle in park 3 mins 4. Engine off 1 min Drive. No more CELs, throttle consistently smooth and power delivery linear with Mamo Motorsports ported TB.

All I did on mine was unplug the battery for 15 min. Never had any issues and like you found the throttle response is very smooth now, especially during launch, no more hiccups or stagger. Been running it on track also. Where did this relearn info come from?
