I was thinking about putting in an intake but i'm not sure with which company i should go with. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also how much would my mpg and hp increase? thanks

The most popular intakes in the forum are CAI Inc, Rotofab and Vararam. Cheaper options include K&N and Spectre. Everyone is probably going to recommend you what they have. I just switched from a K&N to a CAI and the fit is much better as it is more expensive but the seat of the pants feeling is about the same (most intakes gain you around 10 hp). It depends on which one you like and what you want to spend.

I went AIRAID and love it. Personally I think they're all good, it's just a tube with a open filter on the end of it lol

Start here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...+intake+thread

and you can find probably 10 other topics asking the same question on the first page alone in the motor board: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=11

As you can already tell, CAI Inc intakes are very popular for these cars. The link that JimE posted is a tech article I wrote to answer some of the questions people have about air intake systems. Give it a look and if you have any questions feel free to send me a private message.
