Yes, PLEASE. I am still scratching my head why GM didn't put tap shift also on the center console shifter. I'd love to have one on my 2011.

Hurst developed a fully operational prototype "tap shifter" quite some time ago. Although this shifter never went into production, I started this thread in hopes of convincing the sales department that there is a market for this product. If you want to see this option available for your vehicle, vote for it. Your vote counts!

+1 -- That would have been awesome on the one I have (A6) I just installed. Would have loved that -- hopefully you can retrofit those!

Love the idea. Just watched the video. Not sure how I would feel about the + and - on the tip of the shifter, but would rather see it on the side or even an actual up/down or side to side motion like the Chevy SS. Like a ratchet shifter on the turbo 350 .

Either way, if you actually develop one and need a test car, let me know! I am in AZ and would love to pilot it.
