Yes, PLEASE. I am still scratching my head why GM didn't put tap shift also on the center console shifter. I'd love to have one on my 2011.

Hurst developed a fully operational prototype "tap shifter" quite some time ago. Although this shifter never went into production, I started this thread in hopes of convincing the sales department that there is a market for this product. If you want to see this option available for your vehicle, vote for it. Your vote counts!

Love the idea. Just watched the video. Not sure how I would feel about the + and - on the tip of the shifter, but would rather see it on the side or even an actual up/down or side to side motion like the Chevy SS. Like a ratchet shifter on the turbo 350
 . Either way, if you actually develop one and need a test car, let me know! I am in AZ and would love to pilot it.
