How much your super bee is making on the dyno after the mods?

This isn't me or my opinion. But, it's still a drivers race. As for the difference between the cars mentioned in this post. The weight difference (again not me), the V6 Camaro weighs 3800 and the Charger R/T 4253 lbs. So I wasn't too far off by a guess. Horsepower to weight, the camaro wins by a small margin but, the advantage easily goes to the Charger. The earlier chargers had only 340hp. If you were looking at the all wheel drive, the 1/4 mile times are even slower.

I do have both cars with the V6. I like the Camaro on curvy roads because it handles much better but for a daily driver, the Charger is nicer. That my 2 cents.
You need to check your times again, a new Charter R/T RWD is a mid 13 (13.5-13.6) second car, AWDs are high 13s (13.7-13.8), talking new models only of course. Remember, most dynos show the 5.7 is making closer to 390-400 HP, along with the torque, is giving them a huge advatnage over a V6 Camaro. Even by your estimates of 13.8 for an R/T and 14.2 for a V6 manual Camaro, you realize you are talking 4 car lengths on average in the 1/4 mile, that is quite a bit of a lead of there. And as you stated, you have the V6 Charger. they are nice, but you can't judge what the V8 can do based on it. It is pretty simple, acceleration goes to the R/T, handling to the Camaro. Nothing really to argue there.

Not positive because I didn't take the time to look it up, but I'm sure the Camaro V6 gets much better gas mileage than the Charger. So add "cheaper to drive" to your pros list.

like some of the others said, decide what will work better for you as far as driving around family/friends or just you and someone else riding in it. what options are you getting with both for 33k. for that price you should be completely maxed for the v6 Camaro. The r/t charger for that price has a lot of options included with it so decide which opts you can't live without. if opts are a deciding factor, you could get a near base v6 Camaro, for around 23k and use the 10k saved to personalize it. I'm sure you can get a lot more power out of it also with money to spare.

if only I thought of this when I was looking to buy my Camaro a few years ago. v8 vs. v6 you can't duplicate that v8 sound. go with the v6 you'll have the looks and whatever else pros come with it. go with the r/t and you'll have the pros that come with it (power, tq, sound, etc.). We can tell you which one we would chose but it still won't change your reasoning for why YOU want it. knowing what I know now and my experience with owning a v6, I would say v8, but you won't have those dashing great looks of the Camaro unless you get one. maybe v8 Camaro??

Is this a engine dyno or rwhp? If so I need to trade for a Dodge since clearly it's the more powerful one.

All Chargers are 4 door and auto, no manuals. Something to consider.

Just to stay on topic for the options you gave.. I'd go with the charger If I was in your position..

There is no way a camaro v6(stock) would hang with the v8 charger, just wont happen and doesnt make sense lol.

Never under estimate the power of an incompetent driver. I've seen some fast cars put down some really slow times at the Track.

My son easily beat every SRT8 he race against with his stock 2000 Camaro SS so he thought they were all POSes until I bought mine.

I beat his best time ever with the very 1 run down the track in my SRT8 then shaved a few tenths off once I got a good feel of the car.

^^^^^yeah what he said...............

I got my 2010 2SS/RS with 2,500 miles for $32,000 and thy gave me a new car 100,000 mile warrenty (which I'm sure I will void) There is plenty of like new SS's for the price of a loaded new v6.

I drove my cousin's RT 2014.

It is more as a sedan car, nice view, gentle ride, quite shifting, strong brakes, but didnt feel that kick in acceleration even when compared to my V6.

Also, there is too much in cabin noise from the wind that I couldnt bear.

This made me change my plans to buy the SRT version and go for the SS as an upgrade.

Must be a messed up seal somewhere if there is wind noise in the cabin of a 2014 Charger.......My 2013 SuperBee is quiet as a mouse. Only noise I get is the crappy Goodyear Eagle F1 noise but no wind noise. Once I get rid of those POS tires and get some decent tires there will be hardly any noise at all.

I take this part back, I was racing a Charger RT(stock v8 vs stock v6) last night and was hangin with him and beat him a few times also

If I add a couple things I should be able to walk him easily.
