Used a clay mitt Saturday, got it detailed with a fresh coat of wax on Sunday and did a photoshoot.

Should be on a magazine cover....

Your car truly sparkles after the clay and wax treatment! Worthy of a car magazine cover -- that Hyper Blue glows in that sunlight -- illustrates why the color is do desirable. I need to know more about the clay mitt you used and your approach--if you care to share.

Thank you! I was all set to do it with a clay bar, but then I figured I would look into it more and see if there was a better way. After some research, I found this. I used this car wash with it, but I would imagine you can use any car wash soap. I used the cloth side of the mitt to get it real soapy, and used the clay side once it is. It really seemed to work well. I bought my car used and the paint felt pretty rough before - not smooth at all. I tend to think it was never waxed. After I did this though, it was a world of difference. The paint felt smooth as silk even after the car dried. I parked it in the garage that night, then took it to be washed and waxed in the morning, and that was the result. I'm very pleased. Seemed to work just as good as a clay bar, but WAY faster.

Thank you for sharing the tips on the nano hand mit and the car wash. I am going to order both and see what impact the combo has on my car's finish. I will report back. (Hard to believe an owner of a 6th gen RS or SS would never wax their car -- almost criminal neglect.)

No problem. Yeah, I’d like to see how it turns out! Yeah, I hear ya, and maybe they did at some point and just didn’t reapply, but still. A shame, especially on Hyper Blue.

The darker carpet looks great with the light gray seats! It really should come from the factory that way. The light carpet does look good when brand new, but I'm assuming it would get dirty very quickly.

Thanks! I like what you’ve done with yours too - especially the dress-up items under the hood.

Thanks, and yes, it definitely did. Might be my favorite mod.

Thanks! Did the hood liner myself pretty easily. The custom plaque on the fuse box can be had from Chris Frech on FB for about $70. His profile pic is a Deadpool logo. Did some lighting as well. I'll see if I have a pic of that. Really love this car! Can't wait to add some HP and surprise some folks! Not that it doesn't already.

Nice! You know, I never understood why manufacturers stopped putting lights in there in the first place. I mean if you have a problem and it's dark and you're not at home, it's a real pain. Yeah, everyone has a flashlight on the their phone these days, but you can't easily hold it and work at the same time.
