The goal is to have her in the 4s NA. Should be pretty easy to get there with a tune and some colder weather.

That's a great time! I'm gonna try mine out soon - the car seems to be stronger in the cool Fall air.

Go for it buddy! We need more times, this thread has been pretty dead lately.

I had to run an errand and took a detour to some empty back roads. This had a lot of wheel spin in 1st (manual trans), so I think I can get a few tenths better with practice. The car has GM intake and flowmaster exhaust. Running 93 octane. 65F for this run.

Anyone notice a VTEC-like bump at 5k rpm? I'm assuming there is a shift in valve timing a that point. I can feel a noticeable bump in power and the exhaust gets a lot louder.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. I feel like going to a 245 front/275 rear setup helped a ton with the wheelspin, that and putting on summer tires.

The digital display is so bad to even get a real accurate judgement of 0-60. Especially for auto's where it starts the moment the RPM'S move and trying to trick it is just a pain.

I wish I had a better way to time my runs, but I don’t have an HP Tuners unit or anything - I’m using the autocal one that Will tunes with. My goal is to hit a 4.6 with the car NA.

I have the Overkill tune also but haven't done any 0-60 timed runs yet. What was your previous best before tune and the throttle body and manifold upgrades?

It’s hard to say exactly because I had suspension mods before I had my tune, and the throttle body and manifold were done directly after my intake. If I had to guess I would say my best before everything it was probably around 5.4. I’ve cut off at least a half second from my 0-60 for sure. I’m still on the base map that I was sent but I recorded some data on a few drives this past weekend and I’m waiting to hear from Will if he wants to make any changes to the tune. I'm wanting to get my ported manifold filled too, would have already done that but my autocal came in a week or so earlier than expected.

I sent Will some data a few weeks ago and haven't heard back. Base tune certainly made a big difference though. I'm also hoping he can fix the slip values in the transmission tune because my shudder issue recently got a lot worse. Went and got the flush but I know thats just a bandaid.

I'm going to try to get some runs in soon before it gets too cold.
