Haha. I could be the most penalized player on Camaro 5. I get more taunting then unsportsmanlike penalties.

It was a shot back at Mark, but while my father drove a few sticks in his day, most of his muscle cars were Oldsmobile’s with an auto or a rather nice 727 equipped 440ci Plymouth.

I have owned 2 challenger R/T ,s and am on my first SS Camaro. The Challenger is heavier built on Chrysler 300 frame and slightly more stable and has better visibility. The Camaro has better brakes.

All I picture is a 16 year old with all her friends in the car texting and driving. Or racing the car trying to impress some boy. You can teach kids all you want. but when given a sports car, you know they are going to have fun with it.

The camaro is a more reliable car. Don’t want a teenager breaking down.

Neither car. blind spot heaven its like driving a tank for the vision. if its a 1st car situation get a cheap toyota or honda see how they treat it and how they tend to the responsibility of having the privilege 1st. even toyotas and hondas can teach ease of ownership and can be fun cars even if slow and safe.

i got my camaro for its crash rating playing a big part for lower insurance. but its blind spots can be a challenge. challenger is not so bad on blind spots but it suffers the same as the camaro. look out the back window and imagine backing up.......back up cam definitely needed.
most my friends are giant gorillas 6 foot or taller.....yeah the back seat on the camaro non existent if your born with out legs some one can fit back there in my car. trunk opening is.....strange on the camaro for its shape only interesting sized packages will fit. there's room but not alot of room for the opening.
good car but flawed love if you understand that point.
if you get a camaro and new to driving i strongly suggest getting stick on convex mirrors i love mine helps a lot for blind spots.

you guys do know that the OP is never coming back to read this thread. I'm still a little shocked people are still posting in it.

But while we are here...let's recommend a COPO for the teenage girl. She needs to learn how to work a clutch with real power. You really got to think about second gear...do you want it that bad.... do ya'????

Buy her, for example, Bugatti Chiron. But you will not change my viewpoint.
At the age of 16, human was only collecting experience.
... not just in the drive.

Yeah, but why let that fact get in the way of a good argument?
