Accidently attempted to put the car in reverse without clutch pressed
My car was in neutral at full stop. I didn't realize I didnt have the clutch pressed and i tried to put the car in to reverse. It went passed the gate but wouldnt go in to reverse until I realized i didnt have the clutch pressed. No wierd noise or vibration. Could something like this damage the transmission?

There is a lockout solenoid on reverse. It won't let you into reverse while the car is moving forward, so it's possible that it's also active if the clutch is not depressed. No noise/grinding then no worries.

No damage unless you were really hard on it. But nothing I will worried about it.

Don’t worry, nothing happened as long as you didn’t force it too much. Even than if you have your foot on the brake the car will just stall.
