Vitesse throttle controller with M6?
Anyone wired up the throttle controller with a manual? Thoughts?

Does it help with the initial sort of dead zone on the throttle? As a still new manual driver that makes it a little difficult for me.

So if you put it on a fairly low setting(lets say 2-3?) it will get rid of that without altering the throttle response too much?

1 to 3 seems stale. 4 I can feel 5 is where pedal lag is pretty much gone. 6+ is real quick.

I have mine set to 5 and think it's perfect. The pedal responds appropriately without being too touchy. No lag at all. I feel like it helps shifting bc there no dead zone.

In "sports" mode it makes your gas pedal be at 100% Power much more faster. This mean if you hit the gas half way or full way down it will result in the same information transmitted to the throttle. In a 0-60 run you will win nothing against someone whithout TC pushing the gas all way down directly.
It may be useful if you plan not to use the complete pedal range. Otherwise I think it's an expensive and useless option for the price. |

About 150$ new
I took me about 15 mins. The hardest part was getting my hand behind the pedal to unhook the cable housing. It's hard to see down there. |

Does it throw any codes? And also does it stay at the set number after every start up or does always reset and you have to set it back to where you want it everytime?

I've been debating about getting it for the same reason fn redneck mentioned, the throttle delay. From what I see, the throttle controller is really just a throttle pedal range limiter. not a fan of that, but its the next best thing next to tuning out the delay... the number of CELs reported from keeping the setting high keep me away for now. but on the plus side, limiting the pedal range does allow my lazy right foot to accelerate fast with minimum foot movement lol
