I love the one on the corvette. I love how they grounded off the Edelbrock and the E-force.

what was the source of the oil then????? I had the same issue. Bolts loose and oil puddled in the bolt hole.

My guess is its the oil coming from the PCV system that is tied back into the intake. But that is a guess.

So I would have thought, but I have a catch can that seems to be doing its job. Is there anywhere else it could come from though?

I don't know if what I saw on mine is oil or fuel vapors that escaped and collected a bit.

I had mine smoothed and painted by a really good rod shop. They painted it with the same paint they use for engine blocks. Then the raised portions were sanded off and polished to a mirror. The color matches perfectly.

Checked mine yesterday and found about 4 that were a little loose. I couldn't see that they were coming out, but I could make a 1/2 turn to tighten them up. Thanks for the info.

This is not mine, I believe it was the same corvette pictured above.

Also checked my bolts tonight, none real loose, tightened two or three about an eighth or quarter turn.
