Can ZR1 OS be used in FI Camaro

It seems to me that the ZR1 OS uses the MAF signal in conjuction with the 2+ bar MAP senser. This would seem to be the best way to tune with the MAF reading air flow and the MAP using boost readings. The Camaro sees boost with a 2+bar Map but seems to me not to do any more than log that number. This must be a better OS than SD for a street car.

The ZR1 uses an E67... The Camaro uses an E38. You can easily do a 2.5bar setup using both the MAF and the GMVE coefficients. You just have to relabel your zone boundaries and spend some time dialing in the GMVE with a third party program. If you want to change commanded fueling based on boost up to 180kPa MAP... Then just use the IVT fueling table. Once you trip PE, it'll go to open loop and use the richer of the two... PE, or the final EQ ratio from the open loop tables.

All you have to do is put a ZR1 MAP sensor in... Part number is 12592525.

I was hoping that a tuning GURU would have written the OS from the ZR1 to the format of the E-38 to be used with HPT like the SD systems out there.

It doesn't really work like that.

do you use hptuners for tuning?,, if you do , its just a o/s upgrade$100

- 2.5 bar (255 kPa) max MAP sensor support (calibration capability for GM 0-5V linear MAP sensors)
- Rescaled MAF High Freq table supports up to 15400 Hz with 300 Hz resolution, also supports airflow up to 1024 g/sec
- New VE tables with 33 x 33 cell resolution each and configurable MAP and RPM axes (choose your own resolution)
- Charge Temperature based VE multiplier table, configurable axis
- TPS based VE multiplier table, 33 x 17 cells with configurable TPS and RPM axes
- MAP referenced Boost Enrich table
- Boost Enrich MAP threshold and hysteresis value
- Both MAF and Speed Density mode supported
- Boost based fuel cut, selectable MAP threshold cuts fuel to all cylinders when exceeded
- Rescaled fan temperature axis 163-250F (73-121C), stock is 192-250F (89-121C)
