Sunshade for Windshield
Just curious what people are running for sun shades in the front windshield. I saw a bunch online from cheap to expensive, but wondering about fitment and quality from people on here who may be using them.

I just bought a generic shade from Costco; meh, it doesn't fit very well since the visors are so small, but will probably be fine just laying on the dash. YMMV.

Intro-Tech CH-917-P Silver Custom Fit Premium Folding Windshield Sunshade for Select Chevrolet Camaro Models https://a.co/d/heJSi5C
I liked it so much. I bought one for my other car. We also have the super thick heavy ones by Kimberly Clark or something, and I like these a lot better, these had a better fit.

Can get 'em, custom fit, for ALL the windows. Have had the company's product for four or five cars (plus Freightliner tractor), will always buy them in future.

Mine is from High End Motorsports, here is the link: https://www.high-end-motorsports.com...sun-shade.html, windshield only is currently $49.95.
A few years back I bought the full set that includes the rear and the sides as well for $159.95 (it's even cheaper now). The set works perfectly, does not move or sag, very easy to attach and tear down afterwards, and it provides full coverage all around.

I have had the heat shield, the cover craft that Fran posted is the one I was talking about When I said Kimberly Clark. It's a good heat shield, but the one I posted is less than half the price. They works every bit as well besides being a couple of pounds lighter and thinner so it's easier to maneuver.
I replaced the heat shield with the one I posted because after a few years it starts to want to keep it curl so much that it won't block all of windshield.

Hello from Aussie, where it gets really HOT!
IMHO shades that fit inside the windscreen are not the best way to go, as their fit is usually poor, and as they are located inside the car, the heat has already entered the vehicle via the windscreen. I made my own "shade" which fits the OUTSIDE of the front screen perfectly, & does a very good job of stopping UV & heat from entering the car. Simply go to a shop that sells rubber products & buy yourself a roll of thin UV resistant rubber sheet. Then just cut out the outer shape of your windscreen on the sheet, with "tabs" at each end to slip into the front door opening, so that when you close the doors, your screen shade will be held in place. Easy to store too, when not being used, just roll it up. Cheap, & 100% effective! |

I purchased the Camaro Fifty a few years ago. I believe I paid $100, similar to this one
