I have a 2022 1SS 1LE M6 that I will never track. I'm from that school of thought of it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. That being said the aesthetics alone was enough for me to make the decision to go with the 1LE trim over the 1SS or 2SS trim. I love the low stance that the car has. Also, love the 1LE wheels and offset tires, the Brembo brakes front and rear, Recaro leather seats front and rear. As I said I will never track my car, but I live in the country, and I have explored plenty of winding roads in my area. Hope this helps but get what works for you and happy driving!

Same here. I was set on buying a LT1 M6 and modding it, but once I started researching the 1LE and saw one on the road, I knew I had to have it. Chances are I will never track it, but I wanted the 1LE package and that was that. Here is my 2022 1SS 1LE M6 Satin Steel:

That thing looks familiar lol. Nice choice I'm sure you're enjoying it. It's a head turner for sure. I've gotten so many compliments since I've had it. I didn't know much about the 1LE trim before I ordered mine. I was looking to get a SS Camaro. Once I started building it on Chevy site and got to the 1LE trim options I knew that was what I wanted. To me it definitely stands out from the regular SS Camaro.

For spirited driving and ocasional track time, the SS handling would be sufficient. For frequent track time you can upgrade to the SS1LE. Both are great cars, it would depend on your needs and $.

1LE: because it has enough wheel, rubber and suspension to support the power.

Im all about creature comforts. Ill up this by saying the proper way to go for those not tracking :

2SS / Mag Ride / 56Z Rims / Copper Free / Front Fascia

Mag Ride $1695
Copper Free $995
56Z $900 (245-275)

Besides. There's nothing unique about the 1LE. Everyone has the same blacked wrapped hood and everyone has the same over rated rims. It was unique for the first few years but over played now.

LOL! What makes the 1LE unique is the combination of all the parts that come standard on it. Although some of those parts can be optioned on other Camaros, some can't. And in my opinion the OEM 1LE rims are the best looking OEM wheel available for the Camaro hands down. That's one reason they are so popular among non 1LE owners, not to mention that they are wider than any other OEM Camaro wheel except for the ZL1 and ZLE wheels.

Pppff. Sometimes it’s better to be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Meet me on the track. You’ll get a good look at the rear of my 1LE as it’s leaving you in the dust.

Back to topic. The 1LE is an amazing package on all Camaro trims. You can't get close to it for the money anywhere in the aftermarket and nobody makes a better chassis for the money. SS-1LE is the best bang for the buck in performance automobiles period, ZL1 is second in whatever form you want only because of bucks (and yes Porsches are amazing but megabucks). In the hands of a competent driver, the SS-1LE is very very hard to beat anywhere at any price. Pobst got a 4cyl 1LE because of weight. He's gonna be faster in his 1LE with half the cylinders than anything we can do in most anything we have with any number of cylinders. Why did he do it? Best combination of chassis and weighting for the $.

Actually when you break down the cost of the 1LE pack is a great deal, just with your 3 options you are already 1/2 the cost of the 1LE.....for the other 1/2 you get Recaros, better rims, NPP, better suspension, splitter, blade spoiler, eLSD, brembos, and yes that wrapped hood. Also if you mean Front fascia by adding the front splitter you are at 2/3 the cost of the 1LE.

He knows, that's why he is so bitter about not having one.
