Great pass @driven2

Are you guys getting kicked off the track when you make these passes. At the track by me, I was always good for one banzai pass and then would get kicked off... in general would just work on 60ft and 1/8th.

That's awesome. I am hoping to get to the track soon. I am currently right around 760whp and we are targeting a potential 9sec slip for the vert. Trying to schedule some time at the track to see if we can pull it off. Obviously the 2SS and the Vert combine to make the sled pretty heavy for running in the 9's, but still I think it's achievable.

I ran 10.2@138 in my old Vette so I am hoping I can beat that time with the vert. Right now, this car is so much fun to drive. . .lovin' it.

If I can get some track times in October, that's the goal. Of course, I will likely go with multiple 1/8th mile runs to get things dialed in before the bonsai run.

I've never been kicked off or spoken to after haven gone through the initial tech, even before since installing a four point rollbar w/ harness and having started wearing a race/fire jacket. But it is kinda funny you ask, on that last day that I posted the new PB, I actually got pulled to tech after a run. It was even after having already turned a faster run previously than the one they called me in on. Either way I got a blessing and was off to continue the journey to the PB. I do consider myself very fortunate having gotten in as much tracking as I did before getting the safety stuff in place. And, thank you both on the compliment(s), I have been crazy busy lately. Way too busy lol

Still on 20's and need to get a good DR to hook. Best thus far 11.1, but I know I can break into the 10's.

No one has posted here in a while but I will add on anyways. I just recently got my stock 2ss vert to do a 12.2 at 115. I think given the same conditions but less fuel in the tank (I had half a tank) and some personal weight loss I can get it into the 11's. Maybe then I will get a talk to from track officials but after a dozen runs at two tracks I have had no issues with officials.
