1st day driving the Cruze - question?

So today was my first day driving the Cruze to work. Of course it is not nearly as much fun to drive as the Camaro or even the Crossfire. That is not a surprise. I had noticed riding in it with hubby driving this weekend that it seemed to shift gears a bit hard but of course not being the driver it was unclear if it was related to how he was driving it. But I really felt it for myself today. Both on up and down shift it just seemed to shift rather hard regardless of the situation or the anount of gas you were giving it. Is that just sort of the nature of the beast for this engine or out of the ordinary? It is a pretty cool little car though.

There were some transmission issues at launch but they should've been worked out by now. Does the same thing happen with TapShift?

I have not yet tried tapshift. I was just getting used to driving it this morning. I will test that out.

I would get it checked, the Cruze i drove wat a pita about not wanting to downshift and trying it's best to keep the shits smooth, but they were never harsh.
