ZL1 1LE Hawk Pads DTC-60 - Front and Rears

Hello Everyone! This post originally comes from the ZL1 specific classified section, but as that post has been up for a while. I decided to add this to this section of the forum as well!

I purchased a good number of sets for my ZL1 1LE. I ended up buying too many as I have sold the car. All pads are brand new in box. These are ZL1 1LE SPECIFIC!

Here is the brake-down of the pads I have available, with product line, vehicle placement, part number, quantity and asking price:

DTC-60 - (Front) - PN:HB843G.604 - (QTY:3) - $250
DTC-60 - (Rear) - PN:HB194G.570 - (QTY:3) - $150

Factory rotor or Girodisc? If I'm not mistaken there is a small difference ?

Factory rotors, from what I can have heard/researched, the rotors are inter-changable between OEM and Girodisc. I have used both on other cars and no issues!

Excuse my ignorance, but whats exactly different between zl1 and zl1 1le brake pads? Or braking system? I was under the understanding they are the same except the zl1 1le caliper are red.

They are not the same unfortunately. The ZL1 and C7 Corvettes (Z06, GS) share the same caliper. The ZL1 1LE shares the same profile, but is slightly taller. A ZL1 pad fits a ZL1 1LE but not the other way around.

OP - what’s your source for this info? I have only read and experienced the contrary- ZLE and zl1 brakes and exactly the same except color.

I was the first to request these pads from Hawk. I also owned a C7 GS and personally confirmed the fitment between the two.
