I will choose to remain silent this time around only because I like my ability to visit over here.
My car was looking pretty damn sexy in the shop today all nestled up warm and cozy while the snow is falling. Man do I sleep well knowing dirty oil money is almost done paying for it!

Thank you.

Who told you they pollute rivers and streams and what is their agenda? Follow the money and stop blindly believing everything you read, see or hear.

And on top of that, I believe in thinking for myself and refusing to let special interest groups with an agenda do my thinking for me. (Which is one reason why I love the second amendment but will never join the NRA.)

Sounds to me like the Greenies figured out copper was used in high performance brake pads and are still trying to make life difficult for enthusiasts. It's a shame because growing up, all I wanted to do was go out to California and experience the car culture I saw in Hot Rod, Car Craft and Muscle Car magazines.

Now, I hate even going out there. Last time I was on Embarcadero, I saw broken glass all through the gutters where it was obvious people were breaking windows to get into cars.

Are they going to start inspecting brake pads annually to make sure people have not installed high copper pads since they purchased their cars?

Like I said, they won't be happy until everyone is on a bicycle.

Political correctness to the extreme because people can't take care of themselves and blame everyone but themselves for their actions.

I changed out my stock rotors and pads to Powerstop Extreme. I have no idea WTF they’re made out of and don’t care because they will sling the bug guts off the front bumper under hard braking.

they have issues with cow farts in Kali also as I recall?

Yep, they sure do. Before long they’ll tax you for your own farts.
You don’t want to know how there gonna measure said farts

I bet I’ve killed more fish with a fishing pole than brembo’s have...

Are people actually siding with poor widdle GM? Fact - almost every other car maker has been able to work with the regulation. GM has consistently done stupid stuff like the move of Caddy to NYC, the stupid naming of Caddy cars, no manual in the Corvette and then they hedged their bets by riding the losing horse in the last election and then switching horses afterwards instead of planning ahead for the inevitable future transition to more electric vehicles. The fact of the matter is that GM doesn’t give a damn about the Camaro and would probably like to kill it and blame it on anyone - buyers, dealers, the govt. and try to walk away with innocent hands. Meanwhile Ford and Chrysler are doing whatever is necessary to keep feeding the enthusiast market.
