OEM dashcam questions.
I'm looking at getting either the HD or 4K cam chevy sells and dealer installs but I can't figure out how it's operated or how footage is reviewed. Is there a screen on it for settings and will I have to remove the card and plug it into my computer to pull/view footage or is there an app I can use to do both?

to the forums, Rogueleader_92
These are dealer installed aftermarket dash cams, they work just like any other, I don't think there is any integration with the OEM infotainment.

Thanks for the welcome.
I'm aware there is no infotainment integration so I'm trying to find out how these specifically work, I've had 2 that had small built in screens for my last car and I've had 2 helmet cams for when I ride, those require using their app for most settings and the newest one could even stream recordings to the app. Do you have one so you can answer those specific questions?

No, I don't (I have a dual Blackvue setup that I installed myself), but this looks lilke a Thinkware U1000 to me, coupled with a PAC IGN-3 phantom ignition module to provide switched power supply.

That does look like it, funny because the Limited warranty is by EchoMaster.
Thanks. Edit: here is the Echomaster link to basically the same product. https://catalog.echomaster.com/catal.../u1000na132gbc
