WHIPPLE AND FLEX FUEL CONVERSION WOW!

Just before we left for Camaro Fest we had our JRE 2016 LT-1 Auto on the dyno with the Whipple supercharger and our Flex fuel conversion.

I wanted to do a combination that was simple clean and powerful with OEM reliability.

I think we hit the nail on the head.

Whipple supercharger with 7 inch crank pulley and 3.25 supercharger pulley.

ZL-1 in tank pump.

LT-4 HPFP

LT-4 injectors

EFI tuning Flex fuel sensor kit.

JRE custom tuning Via HPtuners.

Otherwise car is 100% stock.

At a mere 9 psi boost on E-60 put down 616 RWHP 621 RWTQ.

This is just the tip of the iceburg, we will be testing an 8 inch lower pulley with different combinations of upper pulleys and up to E-85.

Open for discussion.

By chance did you test where the Whipple ran out of fuel before the upgrades were you at at 3.3 pulley?

It is not the supercharger that runs out of fuel it is the fuel system.

We ran a 3.25 pulley which makes 9 psi

We ran it to 575 RWHP on gasoline, on the stock fuel hardware, that is as far as I feel comfortable taking it.

id like to see it with a higher ethenol content and see if the fiel system hangs in there. Keep us posted

I know it will, I have been as high as 725 on E-85 before we seen fuel pressure start to drop and we have a leg up now with access to the FPCM.

So theres a new table in hp tuners?, what exactly can you do with FPCM?
