Question 2019 SS Yenko

Anyone else seen these? There are several of them at this dealer in Ohio (Huebner chevrolet).

It looks like there is an 800hp model in the 75,000 range
And also a 1000hp model going for 128,000.

Does anyone here have one of these? Or planning on getting one?

There was an earlier thread on these. You can order through Chevy dealers, but it said it was limited to only 25 copies.

They say they are sold out of the 1000 HP model for 2019 but still offering the 835 HP version for $46995 PLUS the cost of a new Camaro SS (and also with options for another 40 HP).

how do you show off your 80-130 thousand dollar camaro to anyone with it's rattle plastic interior that I doubt SVE did anything to correct/replace.

Even if you didn't care about the interior...the hood isn't even functional. This is an engine swap and not much else for twice the price of the car it's based on and isn't even legal in any CARB state. Mclarens and ferrari's are legal in CARB states, but they didn't have the ability to get this expensive guy cleared? I guess if you're loaded enough, little details like cost:benefit dont really matter anymore.

They should have used a ZL1 to start off with. Just my 2 cents

I've seen one in person two weeks ago. I saw #19, 1000hp in Frankfort, KY in at the dealership for an oil change. It was brought in on a flatbed since its not street legal. It sounded like a boat. The owner has a chain of auto parts stores, I believe I heard someone say.

Wut? Flatbed to the dealer for an oil change?

It would be cheaper to have the dealer send someone over to do the oil change.

Interesting... not the most beautiful car, but expensive... and you can’t even drive it. Why?

You can build one for lots less money and just because is says Yenko its worth will never be like a true Yenko from the 1960's. So you spend 120,000 and 5 years later its worth 50k. Great investment I'd say.
