Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted videos. Ran quite a few local/nationals events in ESP form on older/newer tires.

March 23rd and 24th event was the first time we put on relatively fresher 295/18 Hoosier A7's that were ran from nationals of 2018. However, we bagged them when we received them back in September. Cars balance on new A7's versus old A7's really felt a lot similar balance wise but just more overall grip.

The Crows Landing Pro Solo was the first time we ran stickered Hoosiers and also in the 315 size. On the practice course, just mounting the 315's on the front, it was close to .7-.8ish difference over the Nationals ran 295's. Age could have easily affected time deltas. Balance seemed to have shifted towards the front with the 315 setup, the initial response was much sharper and transition speed was increased.

Fontana Pro Solo courses were painfully tight after the crossover to the finish with no line choice on the exits pretty much. Hoosiers on the lower grip surface definitely required fresher tires to feel the confidence in the car. Time wise, it could be worth about .3-.5 on the 30 second course. Not much changes to the car surprisingly, just a minor shock change to the front and it was handling as anticipated. Also thanks to Scargoes for making a class happen with his co driver so we didn't have to run in bump class.

Crows Landing Tour, we had no class unfortunately. Ended up splitting up to run in SM and SSM since it was a 90 degree weekend. We acquired 335's and decided to test them at this event, so we didn't have any surprises for Spring Nationals. 335's over 20ish run 315's on a modified test course showed to be .4-.5 sec faster on the 30 second course.

With all this potential speed possibly found and not having your own class to run in, it is really hard on me and making me bench race all the time. I just want to run against like cars! :(

Not exactly autocross but autocross related... The Lone Pine Time Trials.
This was my best clean run on Sunday and got me into 2nd place in the overall pax results.

Here's a PDR video of a ZL1 1LE going around an autox course pretty quickly. Won Pro PAX using the CAM-C index. The car is also SS legal, and would have won with the SS index also-

Only mods are 18" wheels, Borla catback, and 315/335 BFG Rival-S 1.5.

I'm new here but recognize some names as I'm not new to autox. I got my ZL1 A10 a month ago and finally got to autox it. Wheels/tires and an alignment is all I've done so far and the car is fun but needs some help on entry understeer. Fun car and the power is much more manageable than the C7Z's I've tried. More to come though this is just a fun, lite CAMC car.

For those of you that auto-x your SS 1LE's I'm curious:

- If you're running a front bar, specifically the Hotchkiss FSB what setting do you have it on? I'm currently on the stiffest setting.
- For those on a 305/30/19 square RE71R what pressures are you running, currently I'm at 34F and 32R, tire pyro data shows the tires to be fairly happy and the sidewalls seem to hold up decently.

When you installed your FSB, did you end up with uneven ride height in the front? Mine is off slightly and I don't remember it being off before the install. However disconnecting the FSB didn't really make any difference.

While not an SS1LE, the tire pressures would vary based on your tire, suspension and alignment settings. If as delivered (not maxed out front camber and rear toe settings conservative) RE71R, 34 definitely in the ballpark.

Definitely doesn't appear to be uneven. I made sure to install my bar on a perfectly level 4 post hoist and used adjustable endlinks to make sure there was no pre-load.

I measured the ride height of a couple 1LE's that came out to our local this past weekend, they were all over the place. Thinking it is just in my head, though after installing adj endlinks the weekend before mine has gotten a lot better.

Just a heads up for you So Cal guys, there was a new venue that the San Diego SCCA region test ran at Lake Elsinore Storm Stadium. Its a relatively small lot but the grip feels pretty amazing for smooth asphalt. Given how easy it is on tires relative to grip, the value is really high compared to other sites like Qualcomm Stadium or Fontana Speedway.

Hopefully he neighbors won't complain too much and enjoy the sweet motorsports noises... We shall see.

Finally got a 32 runs now on the Vorshlag camber plates so I could bring my front camber up to -3.2. I set the rear toe to Performance handout levels versus the 1/8" total in I was trying and this woke up the car a bit. I think I need to add a bit more front wheel rate so I'm going to try a larger FSB. This particular course was quite a bit faster than a typical one for this lot so I did better than I had with the car thus far:
