Nice, I assume you watched the Savagegeese review. The opening scene is my favorite of any car review ever.

We have used carmax to sell older vehicles. They did fine. I may keep the Z , we shall see.

I do want to drive a CT5 V -not a BW- and a Genesis G70, comparison shopping...

Acura, Audi, BMW are out....

Throttle houses opening for their review of the CT5 Blackwing is better. Though Savagegeese opening is cool. I like Throttle houses more.

This may be a bit off topic but doing a search I found some CT 5 (non V) with the V6 twin Turbo's ( 335 hp 405 tq) AWD for a 52 k range. That is a lot of car, certainly better than the G70 AWD for that price. I am allowed to jack my own thread... LOL

I looked at the non Blackwing V, when it came out and I just couldn't go from a V8 to a V6 even if it's TT. There's just something about the growl of a V8 that for me adds to the driving experience. If GM would've put ANY V8 into the CT5-V then I would've probably looked at it much harder. An LT2 powered CT5-V with a sticker of $70k would've been something. Hell, I think if not for GM's electric vehicle game plan, the CT5 could've been tooled for the C8's V8 and the CT5-V Blackwing would've probably picked up the Z06's V8. Some would argue that the C8's mid-engine architecture would prevent it from happening, but I figure if GM could invest more R&D, they would've found a way.

Interesting that they gave the nod to the BMW M3 Competition, given how they feel that GM has done a better job of synthesizing BMW's past glory.

That's C/D for you. They pointed out that the BMW has a hair trigger engine and CT 4 just a little to civilized.

I saw a BMW in black yesterday and that front nose is ahhhhh.....FUGLY....

It looks like someone took a trowell to it...

I can't imagine what it looks like in a bright color....

The front end looks like they tried to benchmark the Alfa Romeo sedan, which IMO would be an option if not for all the horror stories I've read about their "quality".

Just some more fuel to the fire. To me the biggest benefit is that it's not a Tesla.

I believe Lucid's car does like 1100hp from only 2 motors, while the Plaid does 1000hp with 3. Cant wait to see what Lucid does with a 3 or even for motor setup. Either way, they are $$$$

For that much I'd rather have a Taycan Turbo S.
