Trans tune before and after questions

Hey all,

I currently have a 2018 ZL1 with an F1A94 on it. The car is making 780whp on pump 92 and meth running a 5.83 60-130. My question is about how much noticeable performance have you gotten with a trans tune? Curious, although not really concerned but how much power did you pickup from yours? I should have gotten this done before adding meth to the car because it is lazy shifting like a mf & I feel I could pickup 2-3 tenths of a second. Also needing to get a 17” wheel and good set of tires because the car doesn’t stick AT ALL! Thanks in advance for advice and replies.

Shift points and torque limits are pretty much what’s changed. If you have a cam you should of had a trans tune.

I’m at 830 and my 60-130 is 4.97.

That’s an awesome number! Thanks for the input.

I bet you drop 3 tenths easy 60-130 with a trans tune. 3rd gear doesn't even really let the throttle open all the way. So 2-3 seconds of your run is between 65-75% throttle.

It'd be worth it just to be able to leave it in manual mode when you race.

I’d say yes. I debated forever whether to get one or now and now that I’m over 750whp the car feels lazy. I have a buddy that makes like 650whp and he’s walking all the cars in his power range with his trans tune… i should have got one way sooner.

What’s an average cost for the Trans tune. I know it’s 200 to unlock and I believe 200 for credits.
