Just add an aftermarket camera above the license plate portion like it was in the 6th gen if you remove the factory spoiler. What's the main concern you're having?

The 19s have 2 cameras , one in the spoiler and one by the license plate so you can’t move the one from the spoiler to the other spot

Well... why you need two? They do both record your rear, right? You can just retrofit the spoiler one above the license plate as well right next to the camera if you still need both installed.

To the OP - as far as I know, none of the aftermarket vendors have offered a solution to this, so I think you would be on your own to retrofit the spoiler camera into your new addition. I think this would be easier for some, such as the blade spoilers - less likely with a ZL1 style spoiler. |

I'm sure if you give it another few more months, all the newer kits for 2019 models will come out on the market.

I'm hearing the camera was moved into the shark fin antenna for 2020. You might even want to do that instead.

Any other vendors working on a 2019 "camera spoiler" alternative? Really not a fan of the stock spoiler on my ZL1.

Bump for info on this dilemma. Us Convertible guys will need a solution that does not involve the sharkfin camera as it would be partially or wholly obscured by either the spoiler or the stanchion.
I have a couple of spoilers on the way and an after market camera to see if i can fit it. Otherwise I'll have to cut the factory Camera out of the stock spoiler and fit it in whichever one I decide to run. Will report on the outcome |
