USB Port

So has anyone looked in to upgrading a 1ss to have the USB Port? Is it just a plug and play thing?

I did and it works pretty good. It also ads the blue tooth option and I can pair my phone with it so I can also listen to my music on my phone through the car. It's pretty sweet!

Unfortunately it's not plug and play. You can install the PDIM accessory yourself (or have the dealer do it) but the radio needs to be programmed by a dealer in order for it to recognize the PDIM (USB port).

I have a 2LT and play music mostly from the USB. I always want it to be set to shuffle(random). But that is not the default setting so everytime I start my car I have to change the setting. Is there a way to set shuffle as default?
