10 Months Later - Still Very Happy

I am still very happy with my Camaro 10 months later. I thought I would list the pros and cons. Remember I came from a 2014 428i which cost twice as much:

Pro's:
Gas milage (see photo - thats 30+ mpg for over 10k miles)
Performance just as fast if not faster than my BMW
Seats and comfort
Looks - people still stop to tell me they love this car
PRICE - $23k out the door
Climate control rules - COLD AIR!
6 speaker system is better than average in a base car
One small issue with airbag light caused by crappy General Cable wire

Con's:
Good Year tires suck out loud. They have grip but the ride and noise are horrible.
Airbag light service for replacement wiring harness.
Limited number of real upgrades after almost two years.

I still love this car. This is my first Chevy and man and I shocked so far. Impressive results from a V6 considering the price. This has to be the best bang for the buck in the US!

Peace

Is your air conditioner cold? I find when i have it on the lowest temperature it really isn't all that cold.

Mine freezes my arm off in my V6 M6. It's a dark blue car so it takes a bit to cool down when it's sitting in the sun on a 90 degree day but once it does it will freeze me out.

I love mine as well! I'm at 28K miles and I've loved every min. I have the 18" wheels, and reading here I think I made the right choice. I love the higher profile tires with the commute I do. I get 24 MPG but I drive in traffic and enjoy chirping the tires (or more) around corners

I love my AC...best one I've had that I remember...GTO was average at best, and my GLI pretty much sucked.

Same here the Ac is "ice-cold" whenever I have it running as well! No need to play freeze out with the windows down just turn up the Ac and see who freezes first ha!

Honestly the A/C is probably the best feature on this car, if only the ventilated seats were just as good.

My a/c gets very cold. On the LO setting it is too cold for my comfort so when I use it it's usually on around 70 - 72.

I love this car. 14 months of ownership and I still get excited to drive it every time I think about it. At work, I look forward to lunchtime and the end of my shift when I know I get to leave and go for a drive in my Camaro.

I've had mine since Feb 2016, so roughly 16 months. Just crossed 10k a few days ago.

I dont use the AC so i'm not sure how it performs.

Tons of stuff is amazing on it so i'll only talk about what isn't.

1. The interior panels of the car rattle everywhere. The music i listen to fights against the sound of plastic on plastic grind sex.

2. Chrome interior pieces blinds me often when driving around in the evening or early morning. They also make the car look cheaper than it is.

3. Even with a tune and adapting to how the car drives, there are still certain corner cases where accelerating from a near stop hesitates to respond to pedal travel.

4. door windows make any sort of attempt at interacting from inside the car to things outside the car awkward if possible at all. Though this is compounded by the fact that i like sitting as low to the ground as possible so my seat is as low as it can go.

Might be some more but those are the big ones. No actual failures or problems.

Hmmm, mine does not rattle. I have 2 Diamond 12's with a huge amp in the trunk and I seek out hip hop songs with the most bass. I haven't noticed rattle.

You can definitely get dampening material, and taking off the door panels is not difficult.

Mine does not rattle either... I hate rattles, and the roads around here are terrible... but over 20,000 miles and thankfully its tight and rattle free
