That blue interior is gaudy, but I like the color, very classic.

Camaro should offer another green color. British Racing Green or Emerald Green would be nice. Too bad rally green was only offered for one model year (although it was a little too dark for me).

Agreed! I was drooling when Grabber Blue was brought back on the (dare I say) Mustangs!

Meh, I think I would have to see the color in person to really be a judge. I feel I would possibly like it on the right car. The blue seats, not so much... looks kind of tacky. Red and saddle brown have always been my favorite interior colors.

Honestly I really like it, I always thought they needed a lighter blue.

Maybe I need to see it in person, but from the pics it looks too soft. My Riverside Blue has a hint of purple in it, I describe it as an "ink" color. Unless its in direct, bright sunlight, I think its too dark. The Hyper Blue looks like a perfect middle ground between Riverside and Rapid blues.

Some people just want black, white, silver and maybe red. Not for me, I am glad that there are bright colors that are out of the ordinary. Every single day I get someone ask me about my color. Is it stock? Is it yellow or green? Its amazing. etc etc....

If there was no green, or shock, or this blue, I dont know that I would have bought a Camaro. Maybe a black one and wrap it in Shock...

To each their own... Either way, its good for the brand
I agree man, and especially on your last commend of each their own.

The people saying how terrible or "douchey" it is tend to drive gray cars, which are not exactly exciting or unique.

Nice thing is it's a light color too, which hides imperfections and such, at least over a dark color.

My issue and why I decided on the new orange is the blue just gets too ligjht in direct sunlight. Someone in another thread called it "gender reveal blue" and after hearing that I can't not see it. My Gen 5 Camaro was IOM and my current challenger go mango as well so I was looking for a different color but none of them really scream at me that I had to have it so I'm going with the new vivd orange. I would have loved a new bright green. Satin Steel Grey was my fallback but I to prefer a brighter color.

ALL of that said rapid blue does look amazing on the C8.

Some want thier vehicles and color choices to shout about thier 'unique' and 'exciting' personality to all passers-by (and, in general, this turns out to be wildly inaccurate) and others just work off of our own virtues.

No big deal.

Or maybe folks just like the color. An added choice is always a good thing, though I'm not a big fan of this particular color.

I suspect based on your post that you selected a boring color

It's a nice color, but it's an iconic Mustang color, (Grabber Blue).

Not a good choice for Camaro. The public will confuse Camaros for Mustangs now more than ever...

Oh well, if you like it, go for it.

I personally think that for most people who like it, any association with Mustang won't even enter their thought process... You fall in love with the color or you don't, which of course is all fine
