'19 tail lights on an '18

I have an SS 1LE. I never liked the tail lights on it. I do like the '19's tail lights, so I was wondering if they fit. Anyone know?

I think Gen5diy is working on a way to get them to fit.

Yes they fit... BUT, the rear bumper cover doesn't match up properly...if you have the rear bumper off a 2019...you're golden..

I wonder if you can cut into the bumper to make the old bumper work with the new lights.

Why? Too much work, new bumper too & painting. The 16-18 tail lights are modern like the rest of 6th Gen. The 19 tail lights aren't as cool as early 5th Gens, although Chevy tried.

19 tail lights are pretty awsome, seeing the original 5th gen taillights on the road now are super ugly.

It's not just cutting, the way they mount is different. You would need the entire rear bumper cover.

My question is why someone wants to do that to their 2018! I like the 2019 taillights too but I not adding them to my 2017 ZL1. I guess to each his own!
