2nd CAT Delete Void emission warranty?

Hey guys I have a question, I live in CA, and my catalytic converter on my ZL1 went out, and I know that it’s covered with the emissions warranty, however I have heard mixed things as to if my 2nd CAT delete will void the warranty and they will not cover fixing my converter replacement. Does anyone have experience with this at all that could help? Should I replace it before bringing it up to Chevy? Or would if the Chevy warranty not cover it would the govt one? Yeah read about that being a potential case. Any advice would be appreciated!
