So I added some stripes . Thoughts?

So after waiting 6 weeks for the vendor to ship my guy the 3m mosiac/metallic black they shipped the damn wrong color and said sorry , the mosaic is on back order and no one knows when it’s coming (China).

So anyway, my guy had gloss black there and it matched the black on heat extractor and side skirts except for the metallic.

The end result we came up With is attached. I like it, I also like how he did the spoiler only black on the center instead of stripes over it or entire thing. Gives it its own accent IMO. Only thing I wasn’t sure about adding thin lines along edges.

Thoughts?

I dig it. Only thing I would say is about the front bumper. its not installed even on both sides. Drivers side hangs over the bend more than the passenger side. I would have them moved back about an inch from that curve in the front bumper.

You know what’s funny. I had 2 people look at it in person just now, couldn’t see it. But then I used the pic from Here and they said they noticed it.

But good eye. It’s like 1mm difference on the edge there. I can just tape it and give her a nice slice

Thanks and yes I agree. Black only which goes with the rest of my color scheme on shadow gray metallic.

My buddy says “try white” …. Was gonna slap him

I don't usually like stripes except the OEM ones on some GT3/GT2s, Vipers, etc. This looks good.

If you had someone install the stripes, shouldn't they be the ones to adjust the length on the front? I know I would screw that up.

Thanks yeah I can have him do it too. I’ve done a bit of wrapping, no expert by any means. Honestly it’s so hard to see in person, you’ve got to bend down and stare at it.

I had him use the special fishing line tape so there was no cutting on car. Downside is it’s not 100% clean as a razor but close.

Just purchased a car with stripes for the first time. If they are done right, they look great. Yours came out awesome! Great color choice.
