Being an FNG, I have no real grasp of the level of humor on this board. I guess I will find out soon enough.

I think the small changes to the 2019 SS for the model year 2020, made a huge difference, less dodge like now. I like the LT as well. However I don’t think GM should have slapped a 6.2 liter in it though.

The drama should be calm for a few years until 7th gen comes out then we have to relive this over again because the 6th gen drivers are gonna hate the 7th gen car at first but the 5th gen drivers will like it as the cycle continues.
That brotherhood has only ever went so far , i have been around and owned Camaros for a very long time and the more generations that came on to the seen the more that brotherhood fragmented . The largest separation i have seen was when the 3rd gens came out . Now is the time to make noise about the 7th gen Camaro since after all Chevy is listening and are making changes based on internet disprovals now, Right ?

"Botched facelift"
The funny thing is that Magazines are going to go with whatever the flow is in most cases . The Botched facelift just goes along with the Botched design that is too close to the 5th gen and Botched fix for seeing out of the car that those Magazines also talked about . It's a 6th gen thing ,who cares .

I like the 19 facelift. I wish they would have just moved the bow tie for 20 and left the bar black.
I wonder how long it will be before someone complains about that bar color don't match the rest of the car . I have seen some really poor color matching in these Camaro panels the last few years . Black aleast would have fixed some of that .

every gen of camaro gets it complains.
1st gen- 67 had rear axle hop
2nd gen - new 74 crash bumpers
3rd gen - iron duke (need I say more)
4th gen flex with convertible bodies
5th gen - tiny windows and over plastic dash
6th gen - 19 facelift....

IMO all are fixable to some extent of the owners desire. With respects to the facelift, A simple bumper cover would solve the problem if it bothers someone...but to all those 19 and soon to be 20 owners who dig their look. Rock on. Be happy we all just get to enjoy this amazing car...btw I've owned all but a 1st gen and 4th....we all should be supporting the cause, if people dont buy the camaro it will be 2002 all over again

The Mustang Grill now looks better than the new RS and LT1 grill.

I don't recall any of the magazines saying its to close to the 5th gen.

The 19 SS face was almost universally panned by the auto mags

As far as the seeing out of it, Car & Driver even said they hate writing about it, they know the readers hate reading about it but it's still a problem. What's the saying "if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it must be a duck"

and if it drives like a slinky, it must be a Mustang

There were definitely comments back then that it didn't differ enough from the 5th gen as far as styling. I saw it as an evolution and not an all out new design.
