Also received a letter today stating the parts are now available and to schedule the Recall.

Getting the lift points before I take it back in. Getting paranoid by the "they screwed up after going there for years" videos across all American brands.

LOL...I received my letter today as well.

The irony is, my car has been at the dealership for 14 weeks and was fixed for the EPS recall at the end-of-May. Glad GM was on top of this .

So far only this only affects 2016 and 2017? Does anyone know if this will also affect 2018 models?

I'm waiting 2 or 3 weeks to give them time to learn how to preform the fix. Techs will know what they are doing before I let them touch her.

Technically it affects ALL 6th Gen Camaros but only some are being selected for the recall. I had a horrendous run around with the dealer prior to this recall because of this problem.

Is this the same recall that was issued 02 Nov 2018 (N182161890) titled Loss Of Power Steering Assist or is it a different problem with the same name.

Not all '17 Camaros are affected according to GM's filings with NHTSA:
https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?nhtsaId=19V086

You can check if your specific vehicle is affected by entering your VIN on NHTSA's website:
https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls

Took mine in early today. I called them and told them the notice states it would be a 5hr job. I wanted to make sure they had all the parts because they are not keeping my car. (whole other story there) Anyway just got a call saying that (all) the parts needed for this recall are on backorder and not available to most dealers yet. They wanted to keep it with NO eta on parts and fix? No freaking thanks! I will have it fixed and send rebate form in....Thanks for nothing Chevrolet . .Springfield MO

The NHSTA website doesn't show anything for mine. Would myChevy be any different? I cannot seem to login.
