Sweet! Just ran an endurance race at Road America last month. 2100 lb Miata with aero, 155whp, on Hankook RS4’s 200tw, my best time was a 2:42.5. FLAT from carousel entry to Canada! That took some balls. What a track!

Me and a GT350R were playing around - pretty fun! Ill post the video at some point.

The repave to Waterford makes for a MUCH more enjoyable track event - the surface is consistent and smooth, with a few corners that have added surface for margin of error/safety. It’s still Waterford though.

Stoptech fluid seemed fine.

NOTE: It seems the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 on the GT350R has slightly more grip over the Goodyear Supercar 3, but don’t last as long. That or the GT350R’s minor width increases compared to the 1LE is that much of an advantage.

I heard some 3 valve 4.6 mustang was out there passing you that day? what gives?

Ugh so need to finish rebuilding our champ car. Been too busy rebuilding other car projects.

At least I get to take the Camaro to VIR and Watkins soon. I don't expect much.. I drive VIR once every few years and have never driven watkins.

Sounds like you’re doing the Chin VIR/WGI tour? WGI is so epic, definitely bucket list stuff- I’ve only been twice. I go to VIR every year in November, such a special place. My fav Paul Newman quote, “ if there is heaven on earth, it’s VIR”

Are you going to the July 3rd-4rh event up at The Glen?!? I’m debating on signing up for that but Chin is so damn expensive...

Yeah almost every event at the Glen is so expensive, but I am trying to make it there for the first time this year. Just not sure when yet.

Well I guess I will probably see you up there, I'll probably be in the Intermediate Solo group since I haven't run with Chin (or at the The Glen) before so I doubt they would let me in Advanced haha it's going to be pricey but will definitely make for a fun July 4th!
