Little Advice....
It's not something I was really looking for but my lease on my 2016 2SS is up later in the year so I stopped to look at the 2019 Camaro's and they have a 2017 Stingray 1LT with only about 5,000 miles for about $44,000.
If you had to pick one, would you go to with Stingray? |

Can you live with just two seats and less cargo room?

Not a 1LT...if it were a 2LT I'd think about it....that price is a bit high, but again if it were a 2LT for that price I would consider it....

I honestly wouldn't have considered trading in my car early but my bumper to bumper warranty just expired and also I am going to get new tires and brakes if I keep it and they are willing to pay $1000 towards the trade loss and throw in a 5 year extended warranty.
I just drove it and even though I usually don't own manual cars, it was a pleasure to drive the vette. My wife is really pushing for it, lol. |

It really depends on your goals and life circumstance. I was also debating the Vette vs Camaro but decided that the Camaro was better suited to obtaining my power goals on a budget.
The fact that I could live without the Vette's other refinements made it a no brainer. |

The things that surprised me was that my insurance would be a little less, the space wasn't as cramped inside as I expected and it was really easy to drive, being a stick. The pop off top is something that we would enjoy too. I think I talked myself into it, lol. |

When I bought mine new, I was on the fence between a 2 year old vette, or brand new SS 1LE. Never having bought a new car before, I went with the Camaro. No regrets at all. However.... if i were in your position, I'd probably go with the vette. Especially if the wife is on board.

My wife really liked the Vette, as did I so we pulled the trigger tonight. Glad to still be in the Chevy family and wouldn't be surprised at all if I ended up with another Camaro down the road. |
