My Initial Review
I disconnected my battery on Friday night, installed the Soler TB on Saturday morning, and attempted to follow the relearn process throughout the day while running errands and whatnot.
Even early on, during the first drive, the difference was noticeable. It doesn't blow me away, but I immediately felt a difference in responsiveness down low, which is what I was hoping for. So far, I have no problems, and I am a very happy customer and satisfied with this, my first mod on the '16 2SS. Now, I'm just waiting for the TC I ordered to get back in stock or shipped. |

Sorry, Mack. Eco settings are even slower to respond than stock. Performance settings go incrementally faster than stock. But b/c all responses have to end at 100% throttle for 100% pedal, those that start slow finish fast, and those that start fast finish slow. Better?
The good thing is that you'll have 37 possible combinations, hard not to find one that you'll like. Thanks, |

Mike, what I am reading, the P1.1 seems to be the sweet spot for DD. How about the setting for the track? Any suggestions or ideas.

I took my Vitesse throttle controller out when I went to the Soler TB, I don't feel it creates any benefit, just the impression that it does. My TB Mike addressed for the surge issue is still working really well, if I ever think I need more refinement, I'll see a tuner instead and be done with this issue.

To answer your question, it is a matter of taste, ability, and risk tolerance. Most customers from whom we have heard, are using CF.9 to SP.5 for daily driving. We don't have any feedback from the track to share. Our best guess is that for the track you might want to be in the high SP or LU modes if the track is mostly straight, on a twisty track I wouldn't recommend anything higher than SP.5, in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you end up on a setting closer to stock. But, then again that depends on your ability. Please, spend some time getting yourself familiar with it and I'm sure you'll find your sweet spot for every condition. Above everything, be safe, please. |
