MBRP S7036AL Axleback on a A8 ????

So I am considering the MBRP axleback but it lists for a M6. I want to pull the trigger and since I have to cut and install I am wondering why it lists for a M6 and not Auto? If that's the case, what axleback do I use? MBRP seems to be a hell of a bang for the buck system.

To the best of my knowledge I believe it has something to do with the A8 have the AFM valves and the M6 doesn’t

NPP valves, not AFM. The M6 doesn't have NPP valves & you won't see any h.p. gains with an axleback over the stock muffler.

Well I ordered and believe they have provisions for the NPP to prevent any CEL. Honestly not looking for any real gain, just a bit more noise as silly as it sounds. For the price I had to try them out. I can always sell for damn near what I paid. Thanks for the feed back though.

The MBRP axleback deletes the NPP and you wont be able to function it anymore. They do provide you with brackets to mount your NPP valves off to the side and no you wont get a CEL afterwards unless you go with the catback which does not come with mounts for the AFM valves
