I setup an appointment with the dealership for Wednesday next week for the tune install. I'll keep you posted on my results.
How much they're gonna charge you ?

Hmm, very strange. I can't find the page I was looking at before but it had definitely said the intake/tune package was not available in Canada. I'm glad to hear that's apparently not the case. I will contact my dealer this week.

Dealer shouldn't charge you anything for the tune, it's included with the intake purchase.

Mine was free at the dealership when I brought it in (did the install myself). Just make sure to bring in the instruction sheet with you so that they have the codes needed to authorize the tune from GM.

[QUOTE=Ruebernard;9765378]Well, it was installed today thanks to our friend Matt @ thatgmpartsguy.com They did the tune which is probably more for emissions purposes. The seat of the pants test came back a big grin and two thumbs up. Thanks again Matt![/QUOH

Hi, I'm interested in getting this CAI for my ss, how much improvement did you notice?

Got the GM Tune Today!

I installed the GMPP cold air intake a few days ago. Definitely hits the gears harder and IS faster.

With the Tune its Totally different and MUCH FASTER! IT WORKS!

Ive built many engines and a couple of cars from frame up.
The difference is substantial.

Get One and I promise you will have a huge Grin.
~Seriously better throttle response.
~In the higher RPM's it pulls like a Beast!
~Sounds way better when compared without the tune. You can hear the difference.
~VERY F A S T!

No Charge from GM. Just give em the bar-code on the manual that comes with it.

Pass through Houston and lets see who wins. (on a safe track no roads)
Any stock SS and my Cold Air and Tune. If I lose you can post a pic of me paying you $100 = )
The Automatics are faster so it needs to be Auto against Auto to be fair.

The dyno is from the manufacturer of the CAI. No Tune.
