Like Ryan posted, do you sacrifice that or runner length? If you want all out power then worrying about it fitting under stock hood isn’t a concern

LOL there's many more ways to skin a cat to make more power its more of what you exactly want...……. And for many hacking a firewall is not so good …….or fabricating custom windshield wiper arms or wondering about how the water is going to flow in the winter on the firewall...….. so it has to be done right and then it will never be the same just to try a manifold and what if someday you want FI? then what was the point is where I am at...……. And why not a different package say a corvette......etc...well you may have to hack a firewall even with a LOD as shown by lazer on here....

Car is back at GPI, getting her a new intake. Can't wait any longer for LOD to get the LS7 version complete, so we are going to do a CID with a Shaun's Custom Alloy Low Profile Elbow. Can't wait to see the result once again. As always, thanks to all the GPI crew for working so hard with me and my ever changing setup.

Man I have no idea how we pretty much always end up at GPI about the same time. My car is headed back down this week to be tuned for the new setup. I also gave up on Lod getting the ls7 intake out but I went a different route.

Maybe it's because my car seems to make a regular trip or 2 every year to them. What's you new setup? Are you sharing details or keeping it quiet right now.

Off topic I got a question about your air intake. If you changed to the dxr from something else what are you thoughts on it. I’m thinking of upgrading to that from a CAI

I think the tube is well thought and the filter box integrated to fit and act as a reservoir is very nice too.

I want to go upgrade to OTR setup, which doesn't exist anymore..but I found a 'x air' brand in Australia. I'll try that next year.

Car is definitely a beast and very fun to drive. We are actually going smaller on the LLSR cam and bumping the compression to around 13.0 I believe. I know the CID is the way to go since I did not want to cut the cowl, I just hope the elbow does not hurt me too bad.

Here is a pic of the elbow I am using made by Shaun's Custom Alloy(straight from down under), a little eye candy on top of the CID. This guy does awesome work.
