how to keep stock Black rims clean

So I just recently picked up 2016 2SS with black wheels and I am wondering how to keep them shiny. Is there a product that I can buy to put on them to keep them clean or at least make it easier to wipe off?

Read the link in my signature about wheels. Still the easiest way I've found to keep them clean

I also put my DA polisher to them (factory black 5 spoke) using a 4 inch pad and they came out shiny, and I also changed my brake pads to the power stop pads and no more brownish looking wheels.

You MUST go to ceramic pads although the stopping power takes a hit.

Coat the wheels and calipers with a ceramic coating and follow Glens advice,.

^ what he said. Change ceramic pads, you lose braking power but it's still more then enough unless you road course the car. Then ceramic coat the wheels.

Glenn: excellent overview. Hell, I can even follow it.

Question: have you tried Zaino tire stuff? I have a bottle of the Armor All you exampled; however, find the Zaino far superior.

Yea, I'm partial...however...

I had my wheels ceramic coated with they did my car. While it doesn't keep the brake dust from collecting on the wheels, it does make it come off very easily and keeps the brake dust from etching into the wheels themselves.

Ceramic brake pads, it’s truly the only way to avoid brake dust.

Anyone care to recommend a good set of carbon ceramic pads for the SS four pistons?

Ceramic coating or Chemical Guys wheel wax also works good. I ceramic coated mine and the wifes, but have used the wheel wax with good results.

Be sure you change the rotors as well or at least re surface them. I made the mistake of just swapping out the pads and my car squeaks terribly now for the first few stops. It's rather embarrassing.

I didn't have that problem but I changed the pads(PS Z26) when the car had 1500 miles. I just used a scratch cloth and brake clean on the rotors.
