Only 1 .... I know of.....

Corvette Super Sport (SS) 1957

The Chevrolet Corvette SS is the first purpose-built Corvette designed and engineered as a race car. The original Corvette had started as a Show Car for GM Motorama mobile exhibit in 1953. The Corvette SS was developed in six months and participated to the 1957 Sebring endurance race but did not finish the race because of suspension trouble.
In June 1957, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler top management signed the AMA ban for official participation in automobile racing and the Chevrolet Corvette SS abruptly ended up as a Show car away from the track. -

The 1957 Corvette Super Sport was shown in public for the first time in over 20 years at last year’s Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.

GM has no plans on selling it at this time, but it’s value is beyond estimation.

It’s a part of GM history they aren’t letting it go.

Wow! I like that side profile. That would be an awesome car to own (if I had won that last huge lottery drawing that is).

You have the word "an" as if there are more than one of them. I think the prototype was the only one built.

The car has no value to list because it has never been sold by GM

I thought they made 2 or 3 of them simply for racing and for show. Some had the stock body and the streamlined ver. for the racing circuit.
See what you can make of it here....
