Nope swap to mbrp or non npp exhaust

Got a question as I've never seen it attempted. Has anyone ever tried to take the npp out of the stock exhaust and add to say an mbrp or non npp exhaust you have ? I've got a ZL1 and an mbrp laying around but may get a borla sport just cause it has npp and curious if stock npp could be cut out and added to the mbrp .. saving me 700+ for new exhaust .

Yes someone cut the secondary tips off their borla non npp with carbon fiber tips and replaced the exhaust pipe from the muffler to the tip with the section from his npp.

Same concept as this

However it will be nowhere near as quiet as the Borla with valves closed.
