Has anyone come close to breaking down the 2015 Z/28s? I swear, if I had access to the GM database, I could be in and out in less than 24 hours with all the data we need to have the production numbers for 2015.

I'm surprised we're into 2018 now and GM hasn't pushed the info out yet from 2015 cars

I see this hasn't been updated, I will make a mental note to try to make some progress on this to get the 2015's taken care of.

I spoke with another customer service rep last week regarding production numbers, and here is what I got back.
There were a total of 515 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z28s produced. 233 were (GBA) Black, 122 were (GAZ) White, 96 were (G7C) Red Hot, 34 were (GLJ) Ashen Gray and 30 were (GAN) Silver Ice Metallic. As for the 2015 model, 1,292 were produced. Out of those 1,292 553 were (GBA)* Black, 50 were (GAN) Silver Ice Metallic, 331 were (GAZ) Summit White, 223 were (G7C) Red Hot and 131 were (GLJ) Ashen Gray. **(edit: CTF cars: 1 Black, 1 Red, 1 AGM, 1 White, no Silver CTF, numbers edited to reflect Production car totals without CTF for 2015). At first glace, the 2015 numbers check, 4 CTF, 1288 P cars. And Silver Ice Metallic is like finding a Honus Wagner baseball card. But, for 2014, we have 69 CTF, 440 P cars, and 6.....???? I asked if these were test bed cars, crash cars, show cars (semi gloss white car), but that info isnt available. Ive got a feeling that these 6 unknowns have an interesting story behind them.

Correct, I know we have covered that extensively here, so I am thinking they could be pre_CTF no-VIN cars, or a bad number within their system. Though 515 isnt the first time ive seen that number thrown around.

Yeah they might have EX vinss still in their database, I know of 2 (last I looked) still floating around the grounds here. Ass-haulers basically, another EX car gets used as a test ride for autocross practice.

Thanks for the update Z. It's interesting that they made 30 in SIM for 14, and only 50 for 15 with three times the production #s. When i was looking for mine last year i was talking to a guy who had a 14 SIM for sale with 50 miles on it, but he was asking some pretty tall grass so i took a pass.

Maybe this is a dumbass question, but trying to understand the production numbers more. Of the 1807 total, production cars and CTF, were the z/28.R cars given VINs? Or were those produced with nothing to do with that 1807 number?

Nothing to do with CTF or Production numbers. IIRC they were body in white cars with all of the Z/28 parts. No VIN race cars.
